Homeless in Arizona

August 2013 - Part 2

Walking 10 extra miles a day

Since the bus strike started I have been walking about 10 extra miles a day.

In addition to that I have also been riding my bike 10 extra miles a day.

Neither of them is a big deal, but since I have had to do both of them every day I have been rather tired from all the riding and biking.

Also yesterday I got a flat tire about a mile from the end, so I had to walk an extra mile that day.

I am kind of happy the bus strike is over, because the bike riding and walking have been killing me.

The sky is falling - We need a police state!!!!

The sky is falling! The sky is falling! We need all your phone records!! Your key strokes!! Your internet searches!! Everything!!! NSA - Homeland Security - FBI - DEA - BATF

FBI hacking squad used in domestic investigations

More of the old "Do as I say, not as I do" from our government masters.

In this article the FBI is hiring common criminals or hackers as they call them to break into people's computers and do other nasty things to them.

More articles on Edward Snowden

Here are some more article on freedom fighter Edward Snowden.

Aug 6 - Rain this morning

Just a cheap rain that won't even get you wet this morning. Yea, and I am kind of ticked. It has been raining all day, just the cheep rain that really won't get you wet.

I hope it doesn't mess up my campsite and make it muddy.

More on the lady with the screaming kids on the bus

She complained that I was taking her kids pictures.

I told her that is her kids behaved and didn't yell and scream and annoy people that I wouldn't be taking their pictures.

That lady has 4 or 5 kids and 3 of them are old enough to run, yell, scream and bother people as they play on the bus.

Chander Art Store run by Goodwill???

In this blurb the woman that runs the Chandler government art store told me that despite being owned by the Chandler government they get Goodwill to run the store.

That's odd.

I wonder if there is any of the usual government corruption involved???

Chander Art lady knows the dummy lady!!!

In this blurb I discovered that the woman who runs the Chandler Art Store also knows the woman with the dummy.

She also knows Rich and Lilia.

Links to the usual files

Here are the links to the usual files that I keep on the evil nasty things our government masters do.

This link is to the American War Machine. It has a lot of articles on all the crimes that the American government is committing in the name of freedom and democracy in our invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.

This link is all about Bad Government. It mostly contains articles about how our government masters flush the Constitution down the toilet and routinely behave like "royal rulers", rather then the "public servants" they pretend to be.

This link is about drones. But it is more from an engineering or technical point of view. If you want to see all the murders that the American government has committed using drones you can find them in either the American War Machine or police crimes.

This link is about Edward Snowden. He is the guy who exposed the American government's tapping of literally 10's of millions of American's phones, along with the American government's reading of our emails. Even if Edward Snowden was a government nanny, I consider him a freedom fighter for exposing the spying of the American government.

This link is about the insane American War on Drugs. Sadly the War on Drugs has turned Amerika into the biggest police state on the planet.

This link is some letters to the editor that some nut job in Tempe has written.

This link is about Sheriff Paul Babeu. I suspect David Dorn will accuse me of loving Paul Babeu, but I think Paul Babeu is a government tyrants just like Sheriff Joe Arpaio. And of course I don't have a much better opinion of David Dorn.

This link is about Sheriff Joe Arpaio. He is the self proclaimed meanest Sheriff in the world. Sheriff Joe Arpaio also seems to be a racist who terrorizes the local Latino community, because that helps him get the votes of all the racists in the Phoenix metro area when it comes to the time of being reelected.

This link is about police and all the crimes committed by police criminals.

And last but not least this link is about religion. Well specificlly about mixing government and religion which is strictly illegal in the USA, but something which happens on a daily basis.

Designing Without Tables

As I was riding my bike around on the first day of the stupid bus strike I found some free books that were being given away.

The first book was titled:

HTML Utopia: Designing Without Tables Using CSS
It was written by Dan Shafer.

So far the book has been worth every cent I paid for it.

Or perhaps it would be better if I said that the book isn't worth a penny more then I paid for it. And I got the book for free.

The book seems to say that designing web pages using tables is bad, bad, bad, and then gives a few lousy excuses on why tables are bad, none of which I agree with.

While the book's title claims it is all about designing web pages without table that is very misleading.

The book designs ONE stinking web pages without tables. Yes, I said ONE STINKING web page.

Well the guy gave us one example which has 5 slightly different flavors to create a tableless web page with 3 columns.

The first flavor or example, defines a table with 3 columns and no header or footer.

This web page has one bug which we will see later.

The second example, takes the first tableless 3 column web page and adds a header to it.

This example has he same bug as the first example. The third example then throws in a footer to the tableless web page.

This is where the bug shows up.

In the third example the footer is not at the bottom of the 3 tables.

The footer is at the bottom of the middle tables, but in my version of the example, both the left and right columns extend past the footer which is in the middle.

In the fourth example they fix the footer bug with a stupid JavaScript program. The guy didn't even use his own JavaScript program in the example. He used a bunch of JavaScript code he stole from somebody else.

I didn't include the JavaScript code in my example because the computer I am using at the library doesn't allow me to decompress it.

Jesus, I thought writing web pages with <DIV>'s was supposed to be simpler then when using tables.

Now the fifth and final example fixes the bug in example three using this CSS

clear:both;

Even in this example it is a real kludge.

You must put the <div>'s in this order

  1. #left
  2. #right
  3. #center
or things won't work!!!!

You also have to use a wrapper to wrap the previous 3 <div>'s like this

<DIV>
     <DIV id="left">
     </DIV>
     <DIV id="right">
     </DIV>
     <DIV id="center">
     </DIV>
</DIV>
And finally the whole thing with the headers and footers looks like this:
<DIV id="top">
</DIV>
<DIV>
     <DIV id="left">
     </DIV>
     <DIV id="right">
     </DIV>
     <DIV id="center">
     </DIV>
</DIV>
<DIV id="bottom">
</DIV>

Well after reading the whole book, I guess it was worth 2 or 3 cents more then I paid for it.

Even though I had previously used the

clear:both;
I didn't realized that it could fix the problems of <div>'s being merged together or overlapping.

And again I have don't lots' of JavaScript, but I had not used the taken advantage of the way JavaScript can dynamically fix the footer bug.

Even if it is a kludge.

Interviews with idiots

When I went to an interview in Avondale, the guy who interviewed me admitted he wasn't an experienced programmer and didn't know what he was doing all the time.

But that didn't stop him from accusing me of incorrectly accusing me of using my CSS definitions wrong.

When I define CSS stuff I typically define them like this

.xxx { css stuff}
He claimed that I was wrong and should be doing it like this:
#xxx { css stuff}
And of course that is one of the reasons I created these Stupid HTML tests to play with id=xxx, class=xxx and .xxx {} and #xxx {} to get a feel of how they work.

From my playing and a little Google'ing it seems that the id=xxx and #xxx {} stuff has never been implemented in the browsers as it was defined.

The real question is who knows why.

I also had an interview with another amateur programmer in Gilbert and he seem to be the same way.

Despite admitting that he wasn't really an experienced programmer it didn't seem to bother him to criticize me for stuff he didn't fully understand.

Stupid HTML tests

  1. test 1
  2. test 3 - add in a top section
  3. test 4 - add in a top & bottom section
  4. test 5 - add in a top & bottom section - fixed with clear:both;
  5. test 2 .xxx vs #xxx id= vs class=

The sky is falling - We need a police state!!!!

In this editorial cartoon the government says the "sky is falling" and when you are a government nanny the only possible solution to any problem is a larger, bigger police state.

More bug bites

Well even though it is summer I am wearing gloves and a ski mask to keep the bugs from biting my hands and face at night when I go to bed.

I am also wearing a short sleeve shirt under my sweat shirt and tucking it into my pants when I go to bed at night to keep the bugs from crawling on my back and biting me there.

But just a few minutes ago I noticed a bunch of new bug bites on my legs, so I guess the bugs are still crawling up my pants and biting me at night when I sleep.

I guess life sucks when you are a homeless person and you get to be food for bugs more then people with homes.

Names for Washington D.C. sports teams

I thought of some good names for professional sports teams in Washington D.C. which is our nations capital.

How about:

  • Congressional Crooks
  • Stealing Senators
  • Looting Legislators
Based on the history of elected officials being crooks and theives I doubt if I am the first person to think of using these names for professional sports teams in Washington, D.C.

Welfare for religious colleges in Mesa, Corporate welfare Tempe Town Toilet

In this article the city of Mesa is violating both the US Constitution and the Arizona Constitution by doling out corporate welfare to religious colleges in Mesa.

The article also talks about how the royal members of the Tempe City Council are accepting bribes, oops, I mean campaign contributions in exhance for doling out $37 million in corporate welfare to the special interest groups that are building projects on Tempe Town Toilet or Tempe Town Lake as the royal rulers of Tempe call it.

Residency of new legislator Begay questioned

More of the old "Do as I say, not as I do" from our government masters.

In this article our royal government masters seem to be saying that those laws about residency requirements are for serfs who don't hold office, and don't apply to elected officials.

More of the old "Do as I say, not as I do" from our government masters in this article.

Groundwork Laid, Growers Turn to Hemp in Colorado

In addition to getting people high, marijuana also makes damn good rope and canvas as we see in this article.

Well to be honest, the marijuana strain used to produce hemp used for rope and canvas doesn't get people high very well.

Aug 8 - Strategic Edge hacked again by the Feds????

Last week I noticed that the http://strategic-edge.org was still in existence.

I was surprised because I thought they had shut it down.

I email them and told them I suspect that the folks that run the server were crooks and billing them despite their request to cancel the site.

I was surprised because they came back and told me that they changed their mind and were keeping the web.

After that I went and looked at the log files and saw this.

Again I suspect that the police in the Homeland Security, FBI, or NSA had again hacked the site and modified the code to not display the log files. The only people I suspect beside the government are perhaps Ernie Hancock and David Dorn.

This isn't the first time somebody has hacked my logging web site.

Originally they hacked this site and modified the code so that IP addresses are sometimes incorrectly returned when I grab the IP address. That wasn't on the listing program, but rather on the program that logs all the visits.

Prior to that they hacked some other web sites which logged everything.

In those hacked first they changed the privileges on the SQL table so that the logging software could not write to the SQL table.

Then they removed my read privileges so that I could not read the SQL file.

Who ever is doing the hacking is certainly not a moron. They are pretty smart.

Aug 8 - More on the Strategic Edge being hacked by the Feds

I also noticed a whole bunch of HTML in the web page that I did not put there.

First I noticed this HTML which I have never used:

<!doctype html>
The the hackers put it there or did the folks that host the computers the web site is on modify their software to include it in my HTML???

Next I noticed a whole slew of these HTML if statements something which I have never used.

Google says they are only supported by Internet Explorer or Internet Exploder as I call it.

I didn't put them there an one of my beliefs is that you should write code that is supported by ALL browsers, not code that only works on one browser.

<!--[if lt IE 7]> <html class= <!, <!--[if lt IE 7]> <html class= <!, <!--[if lt IE 7]> <html class=
Also I discovered that the web page has a a number of this HTML statement included in it at various points.
<html class=
Normally I only use one of them at the top of the code. And I certainly don't included a whole slew of them in the web page.

Also I normally don't use a

class=
on the
<HTML>
tag

And here is another tag that I never use inside the code I generate.

<meta http-eq
Normally I put a bunch of
<META ... >
tags in the
<HEAD>
section. But that's it. I never use them anywhere else!!!

Strategic Edge and AU websites hacked by the Feds???

Last but not least it wasn't only the Strategic-Edge website that was hacked.

They also hacked the AU website.

And the bugs are identical.

First the reports listing all the people that visited my websites no longer work properly. And they both have the same type of bugs.

Second all the odd ball HTML tags which I never use are also showing up on both websites.

Third and last I went to the home pages of both sites and the home pages don't have all the new odd ball HTML tags in them that I never use.

And of course that leads me to believe that somebody hacked both websites. And of course that somebody is probably the government if you ask me. Homeland Security or the NSA.

I was riding on the light rail and when we stopped at the station I wanted to get off at none of the doors opened like they usually do.

Date a Black man - Get beat up by the police

Many years ago when a man or woman was beaten up by the police they were written off as nut jobs who hate the police.

Well at least until the Rodney King beating in Los Angeles.

Now unprovoked beatings by the police are routinelly video taped by people with camera and cell phones all over the country.

In this article and video two Davenport, Iowa police officer beat the living sh*t out of a woman for the crimes of shoplifting and dating a Black man.

Yea, shoplifting is wrong. But you don't deserve to be beaten up by a cop when you are caught. (Although I might give the store owner some leeway for doing it).

And as far as dating a Black man my view on that is if you don't like Black men, don't date them.

But if you do date a Black man you certainly don't deserve to be beaten up by the police for it.

Pressure Cooker Perfection
America's Test Kitchen
So I grabbed it and read a little of it while I was in the restroom.

I wonder if I will get a visit from the FBI goons accusing me of planning a bombing attack.

Sorry guys, I was just drooling over the photos of a "Weeknight Pot Roast and Potatoes" recipe on page 98.

But again I guess the Homeland Security goons at the FBI could care less that I didn't have any criminal intent, after all it's not about arresting criminals, it's about creating a jobs program for FBI thugs.

Here are the nity gritty details about the bus strike and about the lawsuit I plan on filling against Valley Metro and the cities of Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Scottsdale and Gilbert.

Here is the bus pass I purchased, but which I could not use on August 1 thru 4 in the cities of Chandler, Tempe, Mesa and Gilbert which had all of their bus service stopped by the bus strike.

Some of the bus service was stopped in Phoenix and Scottsdale too. But other bus unions also provide bus service in Phoenix and Scottsdale so bus service did not come to a complete halt in Phoenix and Scottsdale like it did in the other cities.

Also the light rail service, which is run by another union continued to provide service. I did ride once on the light rail during the strike, when I went to the First Fridays event in downtown Phoenix.

Here are photos of both sides of my bus pass, which I could not use during Aug 1 thru 4. The bus pass number seems to be # L31-0013125. I probably bought it at the APS office in Chandler.

Most people are in prison for victimless drug war crimes

According to this article most people in American federal prisons are there for victimless crimes.

When you look at the graph below you see that over 51 percent of the people in Federal prisons are there for victimless drug war crimes.

After victimless drug war crimes it looks like more people are in Federal prisons for victimless weapons violations. I suspect that is for possessing a machine gun or sawed off shot gun without the $200 tax license, or for perhaps lying on the Brady Bill license application when a person buys a gun.

After that it looks like the next highest number of people in Federal prisons are there for the victimless crime of sneaking into the USA in an attempt to find a better job. The graph calls them immigration crimes.

It's only after those three victimless crimes that people are in prison for real crimes that hurt people such as property crimes, which I suspect are theft or fraud and violent crimes.

Tue 8/13 - Woman says hi to me in Spanish

When I was going to lunch I was walking by city hall and some woman surprised me and said high to me in Spanish.

She said something like:

Como estas
I responded with
Estoy bien, y tu?
And she said
Muy bien
The woman didn't look Latino, but that probably is a because there is no such thing as a Latino look.

She could have been from Spain.

And if she was a Mexican she could have been a descendant of the ruling Spanish aristocrats, rather then being a mestizo or Indian.

Wed 8/14 - Morning lightning storm

When I got up there was a lightning storm to the south and east.

It was mostly cloud to cloud lightning and maybe ball lightning.

It wasn't even close to where I was. Nor did I see any of the traditional cloud to ground lightning.

Peoria officer kills mountain lion in neighborhood

By Matthew Longdon The Arizona Republic-12 News Breaking News Team Tue Aug 13, 2013 10:02 PM

A Peoria police officer killed a mountain lion Tuesday night that had been hopping between backyards in the northern part of the city.

Amanda Jacinto, a Peoria police and fire spokeswoman, said someone reported seeing a mountain lion near Happy Valley Road and Lake Pleasant Highway at about 7 p.m. Game and Fish Department officers responded alongside police.

The officers were trying to capture the animal to release it back into the wild, but at some point, an officer felt threatened and shot the mountain lion, Jacinto said.

It wasn’t immediately clear what prompted the officer to shoot.

“It wasn’t afraid of humans,” she said.

Officials: Two mountain lion encounters 'highly unusual'

By Laurie Merrill, Chris Williams and Erin O’Connor The Arizona Republic-12 News Breaking News Team Wed Aug 14, 2013 5:08 PM

A day after police killed a mountain lion that peered into a suburban window in Peoria, a second mountain lion chased two hikers near a Tucson park, officials said Wednesday.

“This is highly unusual,” said biologist Randy Babb of the Arizona Game and Fish Department. “It’s unusual to have two incidents in the same year.”

In the first incident, Peoria police shot and killed a mountain lion Tuesday night in a housing community in northern Peoria near Westwing and Lake Pleasant parkways.

Arizona Game and Fish Department employees on Wednesday afternoon were searching for a young male lion that followed two hikers at Catalina State Park in Tucson, Babb said.

The hikers spotted the lion and took off running.

“That is the wrong thing to do,” Babb said. “The mountain lion followed them.”

One of the hikers fell from a bluff and dislocated a shoulder and broke an arm, Babb said.

The mountain lion pursuing the hikers was older than the adolescent cat in Peoria, which was too young to have been separated from its mother, Babb said.

The adolescent was a male mountain lion between 12- and 18- months old, weighed about 40 pounds, and was seen jumping in and out of backyards in a community that backs up to the mountains, said Amanda Jacinto, a Peoria police spokeswoman.

Homeowner Rebekah Coleman used her cellphone to capture video footage of the young cat as it walked up to her back door. The lion looked into the window and before sauntering over to the edge of the yard.

Coleman said the mountain lion hissed at her family and was scaring them. She was concerned about her neighbors, who have little kids and dogs.

Police arrived and found the cat in a backyard and officers called the Arizona Game and Fish Department for help, Jacinto said.

As officers were waiting for Game and Fish officials to arrive, the cat jumped on top of a cinder block wall in what police thought was an attempt to leave the yard. An officer fired one round, killing the mountain lion, Jacinto said.

Babb said it was “highly unusual” for mountain lions to come so close to residential areas.

“Lions go through great lengths to avoid humans,” Babb said.

He was uncertain why the cat was allowing itself to tread so close to humans and attributed this behavior to a number of scenarios. He said the cat was thin and probably sick.

“If it was sick, releasing it back into the wild could contaminate other cats,” Babb said.Babb believed the officers made the right decision and had to take into account the public’s safety.

“No one likes to be in a situation where they have to destroy an animal,” Babb said. “This was unfortunate and unpleasant.”

Game and Fish authorities are now testing the cat’s corpse for rabies and will release a preliminary report in the coming days.

Authorities were still reviewing the events and the body of the mountain lion was handed over to Game and Fish officials.

Phoenix-area officers helped keep Obama safe during his visit

Sorry I disagree with all that rubbish in this article.

What cops did was treat President Obama like the royal Emperor and keep the serfs he rules over away from.

It was also a jobs program for all these local pigs where they pork out on all the overtime they get protecting the Emperor from the serfs he rules over.

Nuclear-missile unit fails security test

In this article I am really annoyed at the secrecy the military has about things.

I don't really care about the dumb things these morons in the military are doing.

If you ask me we should get rid of all the nuclear bombs and we certainly don't need to continue the MAD philosophy. MAD stands for Mutually Assured Destruction and is an acronym from the Cold War days.

Republicans screw Libertarians to beat Democrats???

In Arizona a number of Democrats have been elected because the Libertarian candidate pulled so many votes away from the Republican candidate that it caused the Republican candidate to lose the election.

In this article the Republicans passed a law to fix that problem.

The law the Republicans make it practically impossible for Libertarians and Green party members to run for office in Arizona.

Hey, ain't democracy great!!!!!

Doctors for higher health-care costs!

Sadly government is usually about giving elected officials bribes, oops, I mean campaign contributions in exchange for them giving you government pork.

In this case doctors are giving the politicians bribes, oops, I mean campaign contributions to pass laws which put nurses who cut into their income out of business according to this article.

Holder is targeting lengthy mandatory drug sentences

While I would love to see the insane unconstitutional "drug war" ended I would be happy to see these changes Attorney General Eric Holder is proposing in this article.

But honestly I think it is just a bunch of hot air to help reelect Obama's gang of Democrats in the next election.

And no I am not a Republican. They are just as bad as Democrats.

Confession at center of Doody retrial

According to this article Doody's Constitutional rights were violated 22 years ago. I suspect they will be violated again in this trial.

When the cops and prosecutors frame somebody like they did to Doody, the charges should just be dropped and the guy let go.

Not only did the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office violated the rights of Doody, they also violated the rights of the Tucson Four when they tried to frame them for the Buddhist Temple murders.

Two Powerful Signals of a Major Shift on Crime

While I don't agree with a lot of stuff in this article it certainly is a better path to take then the one we are on now.

McDonnell says he and his family have returned all ‘tangible’ gifts from donor

I suspect the governor will tell you he is not returning all these illegal gifts because he got with his hand in the cookie jar as documented in this article.

I bet he is going to give us some lame excuse that he is returning the illegal gifts because he is an honest person. Yea, sure!!!!

Arizona Prosecutors website

I need to find the following propaganda web site and put it in this link.

It should be interesting to compare the propaganda these Arizona prosecutors are spewing out to reality.

In yesterdays Arizona Republic (Tuesday, August 13, 2013) I saw an article about a new Arizona Prosecutors web page. It was mostly a propaganda page telling us why our prosecutors are wonderful.

One item that interested me was they claimed that they don't send boatloads of people to prison for victimless drug war crimes. I suspect that is a big lie. Or they tweaked the statistics to make it look that way.

The site claimed that most people arrested for "drug war crimes" were also arrested for other crimes. And thus the drugs were the secondary problem compared to the other crime.

To tweak the statistics you could take somebody who was stopped for speeding, and then arrested for having marijuana in the car by claiming the real crime was speeding and not the marijuana.

Today I tried to find the article about the new prosecutors website in the Arizona Republic today but I could not.

I guess I should call the Arizona Republic and asked them if they can help me find the new website.

Next I Googled looking for "Arizona prosecutors". While I didn't find the website I was looking for I did find this web site which also looks like it is a propaganda page for Arizona prosecutors.

It's title is

Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys' Advisory Council

http://apaac.az.gov/

I was kind of annoyed because they have a bunch of secret stuff on the web page which you must login to view.

I tried creating an account, but it seems they only grant accounts to people who are lawyers.

I wonder if that is legal per the Arizona Constitution???

Wed 8/15 - Rain

It rained about midnight.

Not a heavy rain that will get you soaking wet but a light rain that if you stand in will get you wet over time.

I went back to my cave to get out of the rain even though I stopped sleeping in my cave because I am afraid of snakes.

When the rain stopped I went back to sleeping in the desert. I think that was around 2 a.m.

Oddly I was hot even though it was around midnight. Must have been the humidity.

In this article it's pretty obvious that these "Blockwatch grants" or "Blockwatch programs" are a big waste of money that don't stop crime.

From the article it sounds like the "Blockwatch programs" or "Blockwatch grants" are government welfare programs for cops who get paid up to $60 and hour to baby sit children.

The article also seems to say that the "Blockwatch programs" or "Blockwatch grants" are also propaganda programs by the Phoenix Police to teach children that they must respect and honor the police.

Instead marijuana would be grown on farms like lettuce and tomatoes are.

Members of Congress make a lousy $174,000 a year

Almost had my civil rights violated at Wal-Mart???

Today when I was walking to lunch at Del Taco I noticed two news helicopters in the sky. At first I thought there was a fire somewhere in the area, or perhaps a car accident.

Then went I got to Del Taco I almost left and went somewhere else to eat because there was cop car illegally parked in front of Del Taco.

I didn't think much of that either because I rarely see a cop car legally parked like us normal people park cars.

I was also surprised when I went into Del Taco and didn't see any pigs munching down on tacos.

There was one guy in civilian clothes, who I suspect to be driving the pig car. But I was wrong on that when he left and didn't drive away in the cop car.

When I went back into the store to get some napkins I heard some Wal-Mart employees saying that the Wal-Mart had been evacuated because of a bomb threat.

I saw this article when I got back from lunch.

It's been a bit on the humid side

Really the warm weather hasn't been bothering, but it has been a bit on the humid side which make it feel hotter then it really is.

Last night I didn't soak my shirt in water like I do when I go to bed.

But when I woke up in the morning I was sweating because of the humidity, something that I don't usually do.

Also oddly the last couple of days I have seen lightning in the morning when I walked to the bus stop.

Phoenix-area weather: High-pressure system brings heat

By Laurie Merrill and Jackee Coe The Republic | azcentral.com Sun Aug 18, 2013 7:55 PM

Sunday’s high temperature of 111 degrees fell one degree short of the record, but was still unseasonably hot, according to the National Weather Service.

“It’s still plenty hot out there,” said meteorologist Gary Woodall.

The hottest temperature for the day, 112 degrees, was reported in 2011, Woodall said. Saturday’s high of 114 degrees broke the record of 113 degrees that was set in 1992.

The Valley also had a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms Sunday evening – and every evening this week.

Several conventioneers at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix, in town for the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine 2013 Imperial Session, said record-breaking or not, Phoenix is hot.

“You could fry an egg out there,” said Gwen Lonon, of Clarksville, Tenn.

“I’m from Michigan and I’m a walker,” said Paula Rivers Dunn. “You couldn’t pay me to walk in it.”

San Antonio gets hot, but not like this, said Mary Mack. “It’s almost suffocating.”

Visitors and residents should feel a slight cool-down this week. Monday’s temperature is expected to reach 109 degrees, Tuesday’s 110 degrees, Wednesday’s 108 degrees, Thursday’s 106 and Friday’s 105 degrees

A high-pressure system in the mid- and upper- levels of the atmosphere is expected to weaken and move slightly east, bringing cooler, but still hot, weather, Woodall said.

The high-pressure system creates a dome-like effect, Woodall said, which “allows the weather to heat up under it.”

The average temperature for this time of the month is about 104 degrees, National Weather Service meteorologist Hector Vasquez said. Record highs range from 112 to 115.

In other parts of Arizona, three fires burning north of Kingman joined together Sunday to form the Grand Wash Fire, which had spread to about 300 acres.

Firefighters battled 11 other fires Sunday in the Tonto National Forest, the largest of which was 400 acres. Lightning strikes ignited several .

On Saturday night, thunderstorms rolled through the Valley, with most of the rains falling in the East Valley. Mesa saw 0.28 inches of rain, while there was 0.24 inches in Scottsdale and 0.31 inches in Queen Creek. The McDowell Mountains had 0.55 inches while Deer Valley had 0.31 inches.

In the West Valley, Sun City saw 0.04 inches of rain.

“August is typically the rainiest month,” Vasquez said. “They build up over the mountains and then they move towards the deserts.”

Vasquez said people should use their common sense and keep cool while the temperatures are hot.

“Stay inside, avoid strenuous exercise, don’t go jogging,” he said. “Drink plenty of fluids if you’re out there. Wear a hat, sunglasses.”

Buddhist Tempe Murders

Here are some articles on the Wat Promkunarum Buddhist Temple Murders which were the worst murders in the history of the Phoenix area.

The Buddhist Tempe murders started out with Maricopa County Sheriff Tom Agnos goons [no, not Sheriff Joe Arpaio's goons] coercing false confessions out of the Tucons Four - Mike McGraw, Leo Bruce, Mark Nunez, and Dante Parker.

They were arrested after a patient in a Tucson mental institution, Mike McGraw, called them and said he knew who committed the worst murders in the history of the Valley of the Sun.

That's not a typo on my part. I said that after some nut job in a Tucson mental hospital called the cops in Phoenix to say he know who committed the worst mass murder in the history of Phoeenix, they used that tip to arrest the Tucson Four and coerce false confessions out of them.

About a year later the Tuscon Four were released from Maricopa County jail when it was discovered that Johnathan Doody and Alessandro Garcia had the rifle used to commit the murders.

The Tucson Four later sued Maricopa County for false arrest and won.

And now Johnathan Doody is on trial again because the cops also coerced a confession out of him the first time around. Will Johnathan Doody get a trial the second time around???

I doubt it!!!

Politicians love marijuana because it gives them a license to steal????

Politicians and elected officials love anything that will help them either to 1) get reelected or 2) to steal money.

In this article that thing seems to be marijuana.

In most states across the United States politicians love passing draconian laws that give people longer sentences for marijuana because it gets them the vote of the powerful police lobby.

Now politicians are starting to sell out the cops because they have figured out they can tax the krap out of pot smokers and give the money they steal with these taxes to the special interest groups which helped them get elected. And frequently one of those special interest groups is the police lobby.

Sat, Aug 24 - A dark spooky morning

When I got up this morning it was dark like it always is, because even in the summer I always get up very early in the morning.

Today, or this morning it was almost like a fog covered dark night in a horror movie.

There were dark greyish clouds, that looked spooky, almost foggy.

In the distance there was ball or sheet lightning. Every once in a while there was a large regular lightning bolt.

The lightning was far enough away that most of the time you didn't hear any thunder, but an occasional lightning bolt would produce a sounds of distant thunder.

In the city I noticed that it had rained. It didn't rain in the desert where I slept.

On Friday the weather bureau said there was something like a 50 to 60 percent chance of rain for Saturday and Sunday. That sucks when you are living in the desert.

With that 60 percent change of rain I was ready for some torrential rains.

But they never came.

At about 3 am it rained a little, but not enough to get you wet.

High Tech Time Cards & Time Clocks

I was at Fry's grocery store and watched an employee punch in and instead of having a paper time card, or even a pin number, the time clock scans their fingerprint to log the time they start and stop work.

But I do mind when our government masters demand my personal information so they can use it to create a bigger police state to keep track of us.

Monday - 8/27 - Monster Storm

Phoenix - monster Monsoon on Monday Aug 26, 2013 - You can see a jetliner near the top - A jetliner soars safely above as a massive wall of dust hundreds of feet high rolls across the landscape

I was pleasantly surprised that on Saturday and Sunday I didn't get nailed by a monster storm. On both days there was a 60 percent chance of rain, but next to none showed up.

On Monday at about 6:45 pm a monster storm showed up and lasted maybe 15 minutes.

Before the storm you could see what looked like a mile high cliff of storm clouds coming from the south.

When it got here there was lots of lightning and rain. I hung out in a McDonald's to keep from being electrocuted by the lightning and soaked by the rain.

The streets were also soaked, but not flooded with water.

I was kind of surprised when I got to the desert where I usually sleep.

I thought the area would be soaked, but it wasn't. There wasn't even any water on the ground.

I suspect it rained a little, but the ground soaked up all the water.

For that reason I thought the storm was a small storm that was localized to the area I was in. I found out that I was wrong on that when I read the article in the Republic about the storm the next day.

I went to sleep and didn't get rained on at all.

While I was having nightmares about David Dorn and Enri Hancock as I walked out to the desert I didn't have any nightmares when I went to sleep.

Here is the article from the Republic on the storm.

Monsoon storm ‘widespread’ in its impact on Valley

Gusts up to 62 mph are reported; thousands are left without power

By Brittany Bade The Arizona Republic-12 News Breaking News Team Mon Aug 26, 2013 10:57 PM

A massive monsoon storm walloped the Valley on Monday evening, downing trees and power lines, flooding roadways and leaving nearly 14,000 customers without power.

Pushing a wall of dust hundreds of feet high, the storm struck first in the southeast Valley with wind gusts of 62 mph reported in Chandler.

No injuries were reported, but the storm briefly interrupted takeoffs and landings at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and caused minor flooding throughout the Valley as it put on a dazzling display of thunder and lightning.

With a little over a month left before the official end of Arizona’s monsoon season, storms like Monday’s aren’t unusual, but this one was much more widespread than others this summer, according to an official with the National Weather Service in Phoenix.

The storm rolled in just after dinnertime, capping a day of cloudy skies and below-normal temperatures.

The high for the day reached 100 degrees, 4 degrees below the average high for the date.

Monday’s storm downed trees and power lines across the Valley. Late Monday, Arizona Public Service crews had been scrambling to restore power to about 13,000 customers. By 9:45 p.m., power had been restored to all but 2,800. Salt River Project said about 11,000 of its customers were without power, with 3,500 of them in Ahwatukee Foothills.

Damaged trees littered the Valley, with some uprooted and some snapped in half. A few were engulfed in flames from lightning strikes, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

Flooding closed several lanes on U.S. 60 near Mill Avenue, and water spanned roadways in south Tempe near Kyrene and Warner roads. The area received 0.75 inch of rain in less than an hour, according to data from the Flood Control District of Maricopa County.

Today and Wednesday are expected to be mostly clear, with highs increasing above average to 107 degrees by Wednesday, according to the Weather Service. By Thursday, the Valley is expected to return to partly cloudy skies and cooler air, the Weather Service said.

The high is expected to be in the mid-90s with a chance for thunderstorms through Sunday.

And here is the article from the Tribune.

Strong storm leaves many in EV without power

Posted: Monday, August 26, 2013 9:24 pm | Updated: 1:29 am, Tue Aug 27, 2013.

By Iris Hermosillo, ABC15.com

Storms hit hard in parts of the East Valley, causing flooding and downing power lines in Ahwatukee and Tempe, and dropping serious rain across the greater Phoenix area.

The West Valley got hit hard too with severe storms producing damaging winds and very heavy rain through the Buckeye area.

Storms continue to hit areas hard as they move through northwest Maricopa county.

Strong storms are also still hitting the high country with storms along I-40 producing areas of heavy rain, frequent lightning and gusty winds.

All of these storms developed thanks to some daytime heating that destabilized our atmosphere and combined with all of the moisture we had in place from Ivo which continues to decay off the coast of Baja California.

We could still see some light showers, or an isolated storm, track through the Valley overnight. However, our chances for more widespread rain or storms are limited since the atmosphere has been worked over by the storms that moved through this evening.

Slightly drier air is trying to work its way into our state from the east and this will drop our storm chances a bit for Tuesday. While there will still be enough moisture in place to potentially get a couple isolated showers or storms going by the afternoon, our chances of seeing them in the Valley will be a little less than today. We'll keep just a 10 percent chance for an isolated storm to drift into the Valley Tuesday afternoon.

Tuesday's temperatures will manage to get a bit warmer thanks to the slightly drier air. Plan on highs to top out around average, near 105.

By Wednesday we'll start to see the monsoon moisture gradually increase again. This will bring back the threat for afternoon scattered showers and storms, especially across the higher elevations in our state. A few storms could develop closer to the Valley as well.

Weather models indicate that by Thursday and Friday our moisture and rain chances will ramp up even more thanks to remnants from Tropical Storm Fernand moving toward our state. There's a chance we could see more widespread storm activity across the state by the end of the week.

With storm chances returning back to the forecast from the middle to later parts of the week, high temperatures will drop into the mid to upper 90s heading into the weekend.

Ex-cop now accused of trying to have witness killed

In this article a Chicago police officer in the 1970s and early 1980s who is now suspected by authorities in four murder plots over the last year.

The Phoenix Police Union is the PROBLEM

The special interest group called the Phoenix Police Union wants to boot Sal DiCiccio out of office according to this article because he doesn't like to shovel pork to the members of the Phoenix Police and Phoenix Fire Department.

Army Maj. Nidal Hasan guilty of murder for Fort Hood shootings

According to article Army Maj. Nidal Hasan guilty of murder for Fort Hood shootings.

Personally I don't consider him a criminal, but rather a freedom fighter for the Arab world.

Yes, what he did is wrong in America, but so are the crimes committed by the American government and American military against the people of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Snowden suspected of covering electronic tracks

Yes technically Snowden is a criminal. But in reality he is a freedom fighter who exposed government correction.

According to this article Snowden is suspected of covering his electronic tracks.

But what did you expect him to do??? Turn himself in????

100 cops needed to pick up one dead body???

Cops tend to take any incident that comes along and turn it into an incident that creates jobs for cops.

In this article do they really need 100 cops to pick up a dead body found in the desert???

Certainly not!!!!

Someone made a comment that they needed 100+ untrained cops to search for evidence.

I doubt that 100+ untrained cops from 12 different police agencies can search for evidence better then 3 or 4 trained evidence technicians who get paid a lot less then police officers.

Burbank PD may be liable in suit by cop who alleged misconduct

According to this article
"Dahlia witnessed other officers physically abuse suspects ... he saw a lieutenant grab a suspect by the throat, put a gun under his eye and threaten him ... he heard yelling and the sound of somebody being hit and slapped from a room where a sergeant was interviewing a suspect ... When Dahlia reported what he had allegedly witnessed to a superior, the officer told him to stop his “sniveling”"

Illinois medical marijuana law draws big-money interest

Sadly govenrment is usually about money and power. And in the new Illinois medical marijuana law it sure sounds like the law is mostly about money in this article.

I suspect that Arizona Senator Don Shooter who claims in this article that he didn't read his criminal sentence will use that to later deny committing the crime.

Taxes or gasoline: What drives up cost of driving

In this article the authors seem to forget that gasoline is heavily taxed!!!!

Mexican drug cartel activity in U.S. grossly exaggerated???

This article points out that the bigger and badder the cops can make a problem seem, the more money they get.

As H. L. Mencken said:

"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."

Arizona sure sounds like a religious theocracy with laws like these

In this article women are demanding that they be able to walk around bare chested just like men do.

Obama is a liar who will say anything to get elected

In this article the author points out that In the 2012 presidential campaign, President Obama claimed Detroit as evidence of his successful policies: “We refused to let Detroit go bankrupt. We bet on American workers and American ingenuity and, three years later, that is paying off in a big way.”

Hey, isn't that the same Detroit that recently declared bankruptcy???

RFS program - a welfare program for corn farmers???

This article is about the Renewable Fuels Standard program which is mostly a government welfare program for farmers that grow corn, which is used to make the ethanol alcohol which is blended with the gasoline.

DNC targets Arizona election-law overhaul

Another article about that silly law in Arizona which the Republicans passed to kept Democrats from being elected.

The law the article talks about effectively makes it impossible for Libertarians to run for offices.

Even thought the Arizona Libertarian Party has less then one percent of the registered voters in Arizona, they steal votes from the Republican Party which allows Democrats to win elections.

And of course that is why the Republicans passed this silly law which for all practical purposes makes it impossible for Libertarians or Greens to run for office in Arizona.

Government welfare program for property owners!!!

This is an article about what seems to be a government welfare program for property owners in the city of Phoenix.

Obama’s higher ed fix won’t work

In this article Robert Robb seems to say that the Federal government is the cause of the problem, not the solution to the problem when it comes to the high cost of a college education.

Yes, the "war on drugs" is also a "war on Blacks"

In this article Robert Robb seems to say that the "war on drugs" is also a "war on Blacks" or a "war on African Americans".

I agree with Robert Robb here.

Sadly the American Criminal Injustice system has always been a racist criminal justice system that shafts Blacks.

And of course that is doubly true of the "war on drugs".

City elections are corrupt????

Last but not least Robert Robb also seems to say in this article local city elections are corrupt.

ASU’s tobacco-free policy — what a conundrum

In this article ASU’s tobacco-free policy is all about politics and has nothing to do with making the ASU campuses a safer, better place to go to school.

State slow to refund overpayment

In you pay your taxes two seconds too late our government masters will shake you down for the money quicker then you can blink your eye.

But when it comes to refunding taxes you over paid this article says the government will jerk you around for years before it refunds you money.

Collection of student data raises questions

Remember when our royal federal government rulers told us that your Social Security Card would never be turned into an identity document???

Yea, they lied about that big time.

Well in this article our government masters in the Arizona school system are giving us the same line of BS about the data they collect on your children.

Keep prayer, government apart

In this letter to the editor Al Stein of Phoenix is complaining about how the royal rulers of the city of Glendale, Arizona are trying to mix government and religion in the Glendale City Council meetings.

Somebody needs to tell Cindy Currence about "jury nullification"

Quick somebody tell Cindy Currence about "jury nullification".

In this article Cindy Currence thinks it is wrong to convict a person for a crime if the penalty doesn't fit the crime.

Well Cindy Currence as an American on a jury, you have the right to vote to acquit a person who is guilty as hell if you feel that either the law is unjust or the punishment is unjust.

In the days when slavery was legal many jurors used what is called "jury nullification" to free many people who were guilty of helping slaves escape, because they felt that slavery was wrong.

The same thing happened in America's failed war on liquor which was called the Prohibition.

Back then they estimate as many as 60 percent of the people arrested for bootlegging were voted to be innocent by juries because the jurors felt that American's war on liquor was unjust and unfair.

If you ask me you should get on a jury and vote to free anyone accused of a victimless "war on drugs" crime, because the "war on drugs" in addition to being unconstitutional is unfair, unjust and selectively enforced against Blacks.

Ah-hah!!! Sarin gas!!!!

In this editorial cartoon the author mocks the America government's hypocritical stand on the chemical weapon use in Syria.

Yes, Syria's rulers are a bunch of criminal thugs. But so are the American rulers who are playing the I'm better then they are game.

Officials: Numerous insurgent attacks in Iraq kill 46 people

With suicide bombing killing people left and right like in this article about Iraq, I suspect that means Obama lied to us about winning the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Jane Liljedahl wants a life time cushy job???

In this article Jane Liljedahl sounds like a union school teacher who wants a life time cushy job as a school teacher in which she doesn't have to worry about educating the kids.

Hey, Jane, if you can get that job I wish you the best of luck.

But I certainly hope it's not in a government school where I am forced to pay your salary with my tax dollars.

Cops bust church members for handing out food???

In this article the police threatened to arrest some religious folks for giving free food to the homeless.

Jesus, don't these pigs have any real criminals to hunt down????

What's your share of the $16.7 trillion debt???

What's your share of the $16.7 trillion debt which is discussed in this article?

The current population of the USA is about 313 million and with a National Debt of $16.7 trillion that means every man, woman and child in the USA owes $53,354 towards their share of the National Debt.

But since most children don't pay taxes lets calculate what ever adult in the USA owes toward the National Debt. I will just double the number because about half the US population is children so each adult in the USA owes $106,709 toward their share of the National Debt.

That means that mythical family of four owes $213,418 toward their share of the National Debt. If they recently bought a home, that is probably about what they owe toward their mortgage.

Blame Gov. Brewer for this epic clemency fail

If this is how government works at it's best in this article I certainly think we don't need any more government.

Telemarketers ignoring Do Not Call law

From this article it doesn't look like the Federal government's "Do not call" law is working very well.

While we are on that subject just what part of the Constitution gives Uncle Sam the power to pass a "Do not call" law???

If they pass a constitutional amendment allowing such a law please tell me.

Wed - 8/28 - No rain last night

Last night and this morning the probability for rain was something like 40 to 60 percent. So I kind of assumed there would be a good chance that I would get soaked.

No rain came so I was a happy camper.

The Republic did say there was another monster storm in the West Valley like the storm that hit Tempe a couple of days ago.

Sacrifice a politician????

No, the Gods didn't ask for the sacrifice of a politician, it just seemed like a really good idea
No, the Gods didn't ask for the sacrifice of a politician, it just seemed like a really good idea

Fri - 8/30 - No rain last night

I think last night and this morning they predicted either a 40 to 60 percent chance for rain.

I was lucky, it didn't rain a drop.

The bad news is I think I have an eye infection.

Even without the rain I had nightmares dreaming about David Dorn.

Saturday - Syrian missile strikes????

One of the articles I read said that Emperor Obama would not bomb Syria until Saturday when all the UN inspectors will be out of Syria.

So I suspect that either Saturday or Sunday morning when I pick up my newspaper the headlines will be about Emperor Obama launching a cruse missile strike on Syria.

Hey, you don't have to be psychic to make these predictions when you have a warmonger for your President.

Another good prediction will be that Sheriff Joe launches some silly campaign to shake down maids, gardeners, and burger flippers who are in the US illegally, instead of hunting down real criminals that hurt people.

MCSO: Policy violated in fatal jail fight

In this article we have something very unusual, Sheriff Joe's goons admitting a crime???

I suspect that for one reason or another Detention Officer Anthony Hatton has p*ssed off his masters in Sheriff Joe's gulag and needs to be fired so this will be the excuse they use.

I guess Obama lied about us winning the war in Iraq!!!

Wow!!! In this article they say that numerous insurgent attacks in Iraq have killed 46 people.

Didn't Emperor Obama tell us we won the war in Iraq and everything in Iraq is wonderful like in Afghanistan where we also won the war???

‘Obamacare’ helps costs

In this letter to the editor Roger Lateiner seems to think it is OK to flush the Constitution down the toilet if it's for "good intentions". Like allowing 30 million Americans who can't afford health care to force the rest of us to pay for their health care.

Standardized tests are flawed measuring tool

In this letter to the editor Jane Liljedahl sounds like a teacher's union member who thinks school teachers deserve a job, even if they don't or can't teach the children anything

Scorn for U.S. principles

In this letter to the editor David Stover of Tempe says that one hundred and twelve years of corruption by Democrat and Republican progressives have left us with a government that operates almost entirely outside the strict limitations of the Constitution.

Monster rocket to blast off from Pacific coast, rattle Southland

I wonder why they are launching the rocket in this article from California???

Perhaps because the satellite will have a polar orbit????

Will Emperor Obama invade Syria???

From this article I suspect that in the next couple of days President Obama will probably use cruise missiles which to bomb Syria.

Obama considering limited military strike on Syria

In this article President Obama is weighing a military strike against Syria that would be of limited scope and duration, designed to serve as punishment for Syria’s use of chemical weapons and as a deterrent.

Hey President Obama!!!! Are you going to launch some cruise milliles at the FBI and BTAF for that chemical weapon attack they used to burn down a church in Waco, Texas and murder about 100 Christians????

Mesa family seeks medical marijuana for young son

In this article a Mesa family thinks that medical marijuana will help their 5 year old son stop having seizures!!!!

Tempe Police begin back-to-school operation

Are the Tempe police keeping the kiddies safe as they go back to school???? From this article it sounds like the Tempe Police are more interested in shaking down the kiddies for money by arresting them for trivial traffic and drug war crimes then keeping them safe.

Dick Foreman wants a TAX INCREASE for the Tempe Schools????

In this editorial Dick Foreman sounds like a double talking government bureaucrat who wants a tax increase. Which he claims isn't a tax increase. What rubbish!!!!

Teachers unions screwing up schools in Mexico - Just like in the USA!!!

In this article teachers in Mexico seem to be more concerned about their pay then they are about educating the children.

U.N. warns U.S. against illegal spying on diplomats

In this article the UN warns the American government that it is illegal for the American government, per international law to wire tap and bug their fellow UN members.

A Sal DiCiccio win is a union loss

Personally I think that Sal DiCiccio is a jerk.

But even if that is true, Sal DiCiccio does a good job fighting the worthless police and fire unions in this article.

Alessandro “Alex” Garcia bribed to implicate Doody

In this article it sure sounds like the cops are bribing Alessandro “Alex” Garcia bribed to implicate Doody.

I thought in American courts it was illegal to bribe people for their testimony????

It is??? But the cops are above the law??? Well that sucks!!!!

Legal marijuana sellers face quandary: No armored cars

In this article Uncle Sam's DEA goons are making it impossible for medical marijuana businesses to use armored cars to transport their money like normal businesses do.

If you ask me it's time to boot the politicians out of office that are letting the DEA thugs do this

Marijuana-wrapped arrow shot at Washington jail

Another article about the "war on drugs" which has always been a dismil failure.

Arizona DHS employee Katie Jebraail is a doper?????

Will Humble's goons at the Arizona Department of Health Services are doing the best they can to prevent people in Arizona from legally using medical marijuana.

Now ain't it odd that one of the goons in the Arizona DHS is a dope addict as we find out in this article.

Arizona lawmakers - Get congressional OK before Syria action

In this editorial the thing that Emperor Obama should get Congressional approvial before declaring war on Syria and bombing it.

Hey, don't they know that Emperor Obama is above the law and doesn't have to obey the Constitution????

It's not a "bribe", it's a "deferred prosecution fee"

In this article it sure sounds like elected officials can get out of any crime they want to by giving the prosecutore a bribe, oops, I mean a "deferred prosecution fee".

Judge in rape case criticized for light sentence

I am not quite sure what to think of the rape case in this article???

If it's statutory rape, where an adult had consensual sex with an underage minor I think the punishment is too harsh and all the charges should be dropped.

If the oppsite was true and the guy forcefully raped the teenage woman, it sounds like the guy is getting a slap on the wrist when other people that commit the same crime get years in prison.

Three accused of using real guns while filming rap video

Jesus, don't these pigs have any REAL criminals to hunt down>

In this article the Chicago piggy are charging some kids with some major felonies for using a gun to film a rape video.

Maybe the racists cops arrested the kids because they are Black?????

Legalize homegrown marijuana

Wow an editorial from the Arizona Republic saying we should legalize marijuana!!!!

I will smoke a joint to that!!! (Even thought I don't take drugs which is a message for the Homeland Security goons that read this page and David Dorn).

Lawsuit to declare 25 mile marijuana limit unconstitutional

Here is an interesting article on some guys who are trying to shoot down the rule that says medical marijuana patients who live within in 25 miles of a medical marijuana dispensary can't grow their own marijuana.

Let's hope they win it.

Medical marijuana vendors don't like 25 mile lawsuit????

In this article we find out that the folks that run the medical marijuana dispensaries love that 25 mile rule because it gives them a government monopoly to make money.

Mesa drug war cops bust Yerberia shops

In this article I am going to againg scream
Don't these pigs have any real criminals to hunt down????
In the article the Mesa piggies are shaking down owners of Yerberia stores.

A Yerberia store is kind of a combination of a health food store and a store that sells supernatural religious stuff.

I suspect the main reason the cops are making these arrests is NOT to protect the public, but rather to steal the homes, cars and bank accounts of the folks that run the stores.

Let's face it the cops don't protect and serve us like they pretend to.

A better slogan would be "Policing for dollars"!!!!

Mixing government and religion in Mesa???

In this article the city of Mesa seems to be violating both the Arizona Constitution and the First Amendment by shoveling millions of dollars in corporate welfare to Christian colleges.

Police smelled marijuana on 2 Chainz tour bus

I suspect what really happened in this article is the cops made up some lame excuses to illegally search the bus of the 2 Chainz tour.

But if the cops are telling the truth, which I doubt, I would be interesting to hear the legal arguments on both sides of the issue.

North Korea's Kim Jong Un executes ex-girlfriend???

OI, in this article North Korea's Kim Jong Un sounds like a real jerk.

But when it comes to being a serial killer Kim Jong Un is a rank amatur compared to American Emperors George W. Bush and Barack Obama!!!!

N.J. man wins right for atheist licence plate

In this article New Jersey gets a slap on the wrist for flushing the First Amendment down the toilet and not letting this atheist guy have his atheist license plate.

NYPD designates mosques as terrorism organizations

In this article the New York Police Department flushes the First Amendment down the toilet and says Muslims are criminals????

Uncle Sam's "healthy lunch" program is a dismal failure????

How many times do I have to say govenrment is the cause of the problem, not the solution to the problem.

In this article we see that Uncle Sam's "healthy lunch" program is a dismal failure.

Is Obama lying about his "new" marijuana position???

In this article Emperor Obama says he is not going to shake down users of recreational marijuana in Colorado and Washington.

Emperor Obama has lied before and said the same thing about users of medical marijuana.

I will believe it when I see it.

Has Arpaio gone ‘Back to the Future?’

An editorial about Sheriff Joe.

Sat - Aug 31 - No rain again

Last night when I went to bed the predictions again were something like a 40 to 60 percent chance for rain.

Again when I woke up this morning it didn't rain a drop.

Although the Arizona Republic did say they had a monster monsoon out in Mesa and Apache Junction a drop did hit me.

Sat - Aug 31 - Obama hasn't bombed Syria yet - as of 10 a.m.

When I bought my newspaper this morning the first thing I checked was for the headlines of Emperor Obama bombing Syria.

It hasn't happened yet. The top article in today's Arizona Republic web page says Obama will be on the tube at 10:15 a.m. to make his case on bombing Syria.

Perhaps the bombs will start falling on Syria during that news conference. Or maybe they have started falling after the morning Republic was printed, but the news has not been given to the media yet.

It's 10 am in Phoenix, which makes it maybe 6 p.m. in Syria.

More nightmares about David Dorn

Again I had a hard time sleeping because of nightmares about David Dorn.

Good news, bad news on Syria - 11:38 a.m.

The good news is my prediction that Obama was going to bomb Syria was wrong.

At his news conference earlier this morning Obama said he was going to get approval from Congress before murdering any people in Syria.

Even if I am an atheist I will say thank God, that Obama isn't going to murder a bunch of innocent civilians in Syria to prove he is a tough guy.

The bad news is that I have another LOSE in my predictions.

But considering all the people that Obama won't murder I guess I can live with that.

I will gladly be wrong in my predictions if it means saving a few people's lives.

Jupiter is in the east at 6 a.m.

According to this article you will be able to see Jupiter in the early morning sky at about 6 a.m.

I suspect the times should be about the same, since Arizona doesn't do that silly daylight savings time nonsense and we are now on California time.

Labor Day sky watching: Crescent moon, bright Jupiter

By Deborah Netburn

August 30, 2013, 5:24 p.m.

Looking for a Labor Day sky-watching plan? Keep your eye out for Jupiter.

The giant gaseous planet will be the second-brightest body in the sky, after the moon, this weekend, and you won't be able to miss it, according to EarthSky.org.

The bummer for late-night partiers is that the best view of the planet will be early in the morning, some time around dawn.

But early risers will have a front-row seat to the show.

At 6 a.m. on Saturday morning, look low in the sky to the East to find Jupiter right next to a thin crescent moon.

Early Sunday morning, at about the same time of day, you'll find Jupiter shining brightly above an even thinner crescent moon, and the view should be lovely.

If you get up early enough, like 90 minutes before dawn, you may be able to see Mars, shining dimly beneath the moon.

Happy sky watching, and happy Labor Day!

Two file lawsuit for grow-your-own medical marijuana

Let's hope these folks win the lawsuit in this article.

They want to have that stupid 25 mile rule on grow your own medical marijuana declared null and void!!!!

Sat Aug 31 - A great NORML meeting

Andrew Ferris is a real trouble make!!!!! You did a great job Andrew!!!! Andrew talked a little about how when tomatoes are made illegal, the cops will have probable cause to pull over anybody with a ketchup stain on their shirt.

And of course how when tomatoes are illegal people will have secret gatherings to grow and eat tomatoes.

Again an excellent talk Andrew!!!

Andrew did make one mistake and said their is no fatal dose for marijuana!!!!!!

Sorry Andrew there is a fatal dose of marijuana.

For me, a 120 pound guy, the lethal dose is about 40 pounds of marijuana. I don't know if I will have to smoke it, eat it or shoot it to kill my self.

And it sure would be expensive for me to commit suicide if I decide to kill myself with marijuana. 40 pounds of pot will cost a lot of money!!!!!

In college I was told that there was a fatal dose of marijuana, but they greatly exaggerated it.

Again based on body waight for me, when I was a 98 pound wimp, they told me the fatal dose of marijuana was about a kilo.

Tom Dean a NORML attorney gave a real good talk too.

He said that the law the Arizona Legislator passed making medical marijuana illegal on college campuses is unconstitutional. I wonder if Kyrsten Sinema voted for that turkey!!!!!

Tom Dean said that while the legislator had the two third majority to pass that law that it is unconstitutional because the law does not advance the interest of Prop 203, which is Arizona's medical marijuana law.

Tom Dean said he would defend free of charge anyone who is arrested for possessing medical marijuana on an Arizona college campus in violation of that law in hope of getting the law ruled unconstitutional.

Mr. Dean, you are a good man. Thank you!!!!!

Three of the lawyers there made comments about the Arizona government's making up an imaginary law out of thin air that says that medical marijuana patients are not allowed to use hashish or concentrated forms of marijuana.

When I read Prop 203 it very clearly says that medical marijuana is defined as the part of pot that gets you high - the leaves, flowers and pollen.

And thus concentrated forms of that should be legal per Prop 203.

I think all those lawyers pretty much agree with that.

The line the government is using that hashish and other concentrated forms of marijuana are also illegal under Arizona law. And that since Prop 203 doesn't come out and say that hashish is legal for medical marijuana patients that they can arrest medical marijuana patients who have hashish.

I think the lawyers disagree with that logic, because as I said before Prop 203 says that any form of marijuana is legal for medical marijuana patients and thus hashish should be legal.

As I have said before the war on drugs is just a jobs program for cops. And I suspect the cops are using this convoluted defination because they want to continue their war on drugs because they make money, or get paid every time they arrest a pot smoker.

The only lousy speaker if you could call her that was Debra Brimhall Pearson a retired Arizona State Representative.

While Debra Brimhall Pearson claims to have seen the light and is on our side and wants to legalize marijuana she still sounded like a real Nazi and fan of a police state government.

While our elected officials claim to be "public servants" I love to call them our "royal government masters".

Debra Brimhall Pearson seemed to tell us that the elected officials she works with should be treated like "royal government masters".

She seemed to say we should kiss their fannies and do things for them like circulate their petitions, answer their phones and do other things to help them get elected or re-elected.

If we do that we will probably get a few crumbs of good government thrown our way.

Debra Brimhall Pearson seem to be more concerned with electing people who have good appearances then electing people who hate the police state and want to give America back to the people.

I guess the good news out of that is I realized that the criminal justice system is corrupt to the core.

Arizona Supreme Court bars DUI blood tests without warrant

HOWARD FISCHER Capitol Media Services

PHOENIX -- Police cannot use the state's traffic laws to draw blood from suspected drunk drivers without a warrant absent their specific permission at the time of the test, the Arizona Supreme Court ruled Thursday.

In a unanimous decision, the justices rejected the contention by the Pima County Attorney's Office that all Arizona motorists give "implied consent" to having blood, breath or urine tests as a condition to be licensed to drive. They said that means, absent a clear -- and voluntary -- consent immediately prior to the blood draw, it is an illegal search without a warrant.

In a wide-ranging ruling, the high court also said that the ability of juveniles to give that voluntary consent is not absolute -- and not the same as an adult. Justice Scott Bales, writing for the court, said a trial judge must consider all the factors, including the age of the suspect and the failure to notify parents.

But the justices refused to rule that the absence of a juvenile's parents automatically means any consent is not voluntary.

Thursday's ruling most immediately means that charges of driving under the influence of drugs will be dropped against the youth, identified in court records only as Tyler B. because he was 16 at the time of the arrest.

But he is not out of the legal woods yet. Deputy County Attorney Nicolette Kneut said Tyler, who has since turned 18, still faces charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in justice court as an adult.

Pima County Attorney Barbara LaWall said Thursday's ruling will complicate the job that police statewide are required to do. She said the high court has provided no guidance.

"How is the officer supposed to know whether or not it's been an express consent," she said. "It just makes it really, really tough because there isn't any bright line." [Duh, the 4th Amendment you idiot!!!!]

LaWall said the ruling means that her office will advise police to get a court-ordered warrant whenever possible before drawing blood, even when a motorist -- and now, especially a juvenile -- gives approval for a blood draw. That, she said, eliminates any possibility of having that consent later ruled involuntary.

According to court records, Tyler and two friends arrived late to school. A school monitor smelled marijuana on the boys and also saw drug paraphernalia in Tyler's car.

The boys were detained in separate rooms while sheriff's deputies were contacted.

A deputy read Tyler his Miranda warnings against self-incrimination and the right to an attorney. But the court files said that Tyler, in the presence of several school officials, admitted he had driven his car to school after smoking marijuana and that he owned some of the paraphernalia in the car.

When the deputy placed Tyler under arrested, the youth became agitated and was placed in handcuffs while the deputy retrieved a blood-draw kit from his car.

On returning, he saw Tyler had calmed down and he removed the cuffs. He then read Tyler from the law which says that Arizona motorists must consent to blood or other tests and that refusal will result in automatic suspension of driving privileges.

Tyler agreed verbally and in writing to the blood draw. But when the case went to court, Tyler argued his consent was not voluntary and that, as a minor, he lacked capacity to consent.

When the court commissioner agreed and suppressed the evidence, the Supreme Court agreed to hear the case. Bales said the issue has never been decided in Arizona.

Bales rejected arguments by prosecutors that "implied consent" law means there is no need to determine whether a consent at the time of the blood draw is voluntary.

"A compelled blood draw, even when administered pursuant to (the implied consent law) is a search subject to the Fourth Amendment's constraints," he wrote for the court. "Such an invasion of bodily integrity implicates an individual's most personal and deep-rooted expectations of privacy."

He said the law says only that an officer must ask a suspect to submit to the test -- and that if a person refuses, a warrant is needed and the suspect's licenses is suspended.

Bales said a motorist can allow a warrantless search "provided the consent is voluntary." But that, he said has to be decided by a court based on all the circumstances, including the suspect's age -- and even whether a parent is present.

In this case, Bales wrote, the court commissioner was correct in ruling that, based on the evidence she had, Tyler's consent was not voluntary.

He said Tyler was detained for about two hours in a room in the presence of school officials and a deputy, without his parents.

"Tyler initially was shaking and visibly nervous," Bales wrote, and placed in handcuffs until he calmed down. And he said that the law read to him about "implied consent" ended with the statement, "You are, therefore, required to submit to the specified tests."

It was only then, Bales said, Tyler consented to the blood draw.

Thursday's ruling drew a special comment from Justice John Pelander. He said his own review of the evidence leads him to believe Tyler did voluntarily consent.

But Pelander said Arizona law requires he and the other justices not to reweigh the evidence but only to consider whether the court commissioner abused her discretion in suppressing the evidence.

'Classified' is government code for 'don't embarrass us'

Here is an editorial from the folks at the Arizona Republic on why way too much stuff is being classified by the government as secret.

Sue the government over these laws

1) They have passed several laws that require you report crimes and dead bodies. Sue over them. Those laws are almost certainly a violation of the 5th Amendment (self incrimination) and 13th Amendment (slavery).

2) The law requiring taxi drivers to take drug tests. Despite Prop 203 which says in ARS 36-2802 that medical marijuana patients can't be busted for DUI because of marijuana metabolites in their system, the cops are arresting medical marijuana patients for DUI per ARS 28-1381

But Prop 203 which is Arizona's medical marijuana law in ARS 36-2802.D, clearly says if you are a medical marijuana patient you can not be arrested for DUI because you have marijuana metabolites in you body:

ARS 36-2802.D Operating, navigating or being in actual physical control of any motor vehicle, aircraft or motorboat while under the influence of marijuana, except that a registered qualifying patient shall not be considered to be under the influence of marijuana solely because of the presence of metabolites or components of marijuana that appear in insufficient concentration to cause impairment.

3) Law that limits light rail fare to 5 cents or is that 25 cents or a quarter.

Where was that photos shot at????

At this web site they will use the GPS metatags embedded in you photos to tell you the location that your photo was shot at.

Most modern cell phones will allow you to record the location of any photos you shoot by embedding meta tags which contain the GPS location the photo was shot in the photo's files.

Will some people, like those phony baloney libertarians, David, Ernie and Mike will accuse me of giving this information to the cops, I am sure the cops already have this information and know how to extract the GPS information from you photos.

A few months back software billionaire John McAfee made the news on this issue when he was a fugitive and was releasing photos to the media.

Some hacker took the photos and extracted the GPS information and determined that John McAfee was lying about the location he claimed the photos were shot at.
